Super Llama: Llamas are awesome! (11)
For the past year, most of my time has been spent on terrain commissions for miniatures companies like CoolMiniOrNot, Sodapop Miniatures, and Outlaw Miniatures, leaving my DeviantArt site updates pretty barren. You can see the terrain work over on my blog site: http:/robhawkinshobby.blogspot.com/ Outlaw Miniatures' game "Wild West Exodus" has an accompanying comic series, and I've just posted some of the cover art that features my coloring.  The first issue had 2 alternate covers so, with luck, there will be more of these to come.

Electric Youth

0 min read
I just finished a batch of colors for an upcoming book called "Electric Youth" by Big Dog Ink http://bigdogink.com/  Looking forward to this book's release! I've gotten permission to post a few of the less-spoiler-y pages.  So, at long last, I have something new in my gallery.  Check 'em out! That's the downside to freelance work.  Much of your time is spent on various projects that you can't show off until their release.  BUt the hard work pays off in the end.  Thanks to everyone who's stuck with me through this dry spell, and for all of the favs and comments.  They're very much appreciated! Don't forget to follow my hobby blog http://rob

February Update

The Beastmaster illo is one of the first personal piece of art I've had an opportunity to work on in a long time.  Hope you like it! It's been a long road, but the Black Tiger colors are finally in the can.  The Beyond Time Comics website is under construction and will soon be updated with digital versions of the complete comic.  Check it out:  http://www.beyondtimecomics.com/ That frees me up to work on some more of my own projects, and I am available for commissions as well. My hobby blog is also really taking off.  If you're into tabletop wargames, or just like looking at beautifully painted miniatures & scenery, be sure to visit the si

HI! :iconturbulence1973: sent me over here saying you did good commissioned work for a good price?
I sure do! I just sent you a note with the details. (sorry for the late reply!)
Hi there! I linked over from your old account, where I found the cover art for the Spinespur: Punishment rulebook that got me all nostalgic. I actually did three of the back-stories for Bob Mervine back in the day (Pigskin, The Angel, and the story that focused on the life and death cycle in Spinespur) and though I'd shout out to a fellow project member and tell you how fantastic your artwork is. :)
Thanks for the shout out!
